The first time I put on my Devereux “Christina O Collection” shirt, the first thing I noticed about the shirt was quality. "Fabrication, quality, design and the overall lifestyle aspect of Devereux. We are a company that puts forth the effort to provide our customer with a quality garment that is engineered and designed with integrity," is what designer Robert Brunner said seperates Devereux from the rest of the shirt companies in the golfing world. When I played in the heat, I could tell that making you as comfortable as possible in the sun was a big deal to Devereux. When I asked Robert how it was designed to perform in the heat he said "Our shirt performs very well. I think golfers are too caught up on how a piece of fabric performs in heat. If you are wanting a cooler garment then wear light colors. Our shirts are a blend of Pima cotton and polyester which works very well with summer heat because of the cotton. Cotton retains your perspiration and that is what cools you down, polyester is added for easy care aspect. " I could tell Devereux realy cared about their customers. The lack of quality golf apperal that fits properly was a big reason why Brunner started the company. In five to 10 years, he sees people wearing Devereux shirts on the course and at his favorite resort.
